Movement and stillness
Here’s another photo from the Japanese Garden, also the location of yesterday’s post.
There’s a little stream that trickles through the northeast corner of the garden, where it’s shady. I wanted to slow down the exposure enough to get the sense of movement in the water (1/20th of a second at f8, in case you’re interested). What surprised me was the little spray of delicate flowers at the top edge, which doesn’t appear to be moving at all.
